YUEJIAN CHINA · A DEEPER CONNECTION
Wuxi: lake views and evening light
Give Wuxi a clear purpose in your trip. Lake Tai and an evening at Nianhua Bay lead to different daily rhythms and hotel choices.

Make time for what matters.
Match the picture to the itinerary
The photograph shows Yuantouzhu on Lake Tai, not Nianhua Bay. The six-day base route includes an evening at Nianhua Bay; Yuantouzhu is not included by default. Adding lake time requires a timing and ticket review.
After the evening outing
Clarify dinner, the end of free time, the meeting point and the drive to your hotel. With parents or children, a long transfer after an evening outing may not be your preferred option. Discuss the overnight location.
One day with Suzhou, or separate days?
The base route’s second day starts in Shanghai and combines the Lingering Garden, Hanshan Temple and Wuxi at night. It is a full day. A slower version needs fewer activities or additional time, not simply a different label.
Confirm the evening experience
Lighting and evening activities can vary by date. The final proposal should specify admission, the visit area and optional paid experiences rather than promising every activity shown in promotional imagery.

Shanghai, beyond the skyline
Look across the river from the Bund, then slow down over a neighbourhood meal. Make room for both the landmarks and the city between them.
