A little preparation goes a long way.
Treat a lakeside walk, boat ride and tea visit as separate choices so the day has room to work.
Choose the lake experience first
After an intercity arrival, a short lakeside visit or a suitable boat outing may be enough. A cruise does not automatically cover every view; clarify the route, boarding points and weather operation.
Know what the tea activity actually is
Establish whether it is a visit, tasting or hands-on activity, with guiding and costs specified. Picking depends on season and availability; a tea-field photograph cannot promise the same experience year-round.
Leave room to choose
Discuss lake plus tea country, or lake plus a city meal. With older relatives, a definite rest stop may be more useful than a third attraction. Confirm feasibility alongside transport and tickets.
